GROUP 1

On July 28, 2005 The members of Engine 1, Platform 1 and Rescue 1, Group 1 conducted a missing firefighter drill to show the importance of proper Mayday procedures and establishing a RIT company early during fireground operations.
	Members being briefed about the days training by Lt Dutcher. Clockwise from right, FFOP Rodriguez, FF Latson, FF Ferri, FF Pruyn, Lt Dutcher
	FF Latson and FFOP Rodriguez begin evolution 1 by advancing over ground ladder, alpha side in search of a missing firefighter. Their only information is that his last position was on the second floor.
	FF Latson and FFOP Rodriguez exit into the hallway and search left after searching the room of entry.
	FF Funes acting as the missing firefighter for evolution 1. He was in the room immediately to the right of the entry room. He was never found!
	FF Funes (on left) and FF Ferri begin evolution 2 by entering the second floor, delta side from the fire escape. Their only information was an activated pass device.

	FF Ferri finds FF Campion (the missing firefighter) at the bravo, charlie corner, the last room down the hallway, after several minutes.
	FF Falone acting as the trapped firefighter for evolution 3. He issued a Mayday over the radio giving his location, identification and problem (L.I.P.) and activated his pass device.
	FF Pruyn and FFOP Rodriguez (rear) advance directly to the position given in the Mayday and find FF Falone in the room they are about to enter.
